Phase I Environmental Site Assessments
Kai Environmental staff have experience using the ASTM Phase I Environmental Site Assessment (ESA) methods. As part of the process, we will conduct on-site visits, compile documentation, conduct user interviews and develop a report that can be used as supplemental information for making NEPA related decisions. Phase I ESAs may also be used by clients to understand the potential risks from contamination on properties they intend to purchase. Our Tribal clients may need a Phase I ESA in order to convert currently owned property into Trust Property with the Bureau of Indian Affairs. While we do not do Phase II ESAs, if the Phase I ESA warrants one then we can refer you to a firm that handles that type of work.
